1. Who we are
Qinglan Global is operated by [TBD: company legal name], registered at [TBD]. This policy explains how we handle your personal data when you use the store.
2. What we collect
Account data: your email, nickname and password (stored encrypted); when you sign in with a third-party account, the basic profile it shares with us, such as email and name.
Shipping data: the recipient names, phone numbers and addresses you save.
Order and after-sales data: what you bought, amounts, tracking records, and photos and descriptions you upload in after-sales requests; photos you add to reviews (shown publicly with the review once it is approved).
Payment data: payments are processed by providers such as Stripe and PayPal. We do not store your card number — only the payment result and transaction ID.
Device and security data: IP address and time of sign-in, and the site language you use when signing in or ordering (used to choose the language of our emails; you can change it in Settings); at checkout, your approximate country based on IP, used to detect suspicious transactions.
3. How we use it
To process orders, shipping, after-sales and refunds; to send order-related emails; to email you once when an item you signed up for is back in stock (sign-ups last 90 days); if you subscribe, to send emails about new arrivals and deals, plus one reminder when items have sat in your cart for 4 hours without checkout, alerts when a wishlist item gets at least 5% cheaper than when you saved it, and one email inviting you to review your order two weeks after it ships (we record the price when you save it; off by default, one-click unsubscribe in every email, or turn it off any time in Settings; these emails contain a small tracking image and a button that goes through our site, used only to count how many people open and click them; we also record which reminders we sent you, to count how many lead to orders; all of this is deleted when you close your account); to prevent fraud and account takeover; to meet tax, customs and other legal obligations; and, with your consent, to improve the site and show ads.
4. Who we share it with
The seller of the item, who sees your shipping details and order contents to ship and handle after-sales.
Payment providers, to take payments and issue refunds.
Carriers, for delivery.
Email service providers, to send notifications.
Authorities, when required by law. We do not sell your personal data.
5. Cookies
We use necessary cookies to keep the site working (for example, keeping you signed in and remembering your currency). Analytics and advertising cookies are only used after you consent. You can change your choice at any time in cookie settings. "Recently viewed" on product pages is stored only in your own browser (up to 12 items), is never sent to us, and is gone when you clear your browser data. We count visitors without cookies: your IP address and browser are turned into an anonymous code that changes every day, used only to count how many people visit each day. We do not store your IP address, and the code cannot identify you.
6. How long we keep it
We keep your data while your account exists. When you delete your account, we delete your sign-in methods, cart, wishlist, coupons, messages and the photos in your reviews, and erase your address book.
Order and payment records (including shipping details on orders) must be kept by law for tax, customs and payment disputes; 7 years after account deletion ([TBD by legal]) the recipient name, phone and address are erased. Photos uploaded in after-sales requests are deleted automatically 1 year after the request ends (refunded, rejected, withdrawn or closed). Photos in reviews that are not approved are deleted automatically after 30 days.
7. Your rights
You can export your personal data or delete your account in Account Settings. You can also ask us to correct or delete data, withdraw consent, or complain to your local data protection authority.
8. International transfers
We serve customers in many countries, so your data may be processed outside your country (server location: [TBD]). We take reasonable measures to protect it.
9. Children
The store is not intended for anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.
10. Contact
Questions about this policy: [TBD: privacy contact email]. We will publish any updates on this page.
